Register

Hear impacted residents' testimonials from a variety of Michigan cities, and visit the offices of elected representatives to build awareness of and support for our package of water bills. We will hold a rally and press conference, and youth and art activities will be included as well. A program and more details will be shared soon. Participants are asked to arrive by 8:30am, and additional event details will be shared soon after registration.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with van pool rides from Detroit and Flint (locations TBD) for people who register. Travel support will also be provided if necessary for participants who register and drive to Lansing from other Michigan cities.

New representatives and the strong ongoing leadership of Senators Stephanie Chang and Rosemary Bayer  are coordinating Michigan World Water Day efforts with the People's Water Board Coalition and working with national partners like NRDC, Clean Water Action, Michigan Poor People's Campaign, and Sierra Club to improve legislation and build wider support for affordability, data transparency, shutoff protections, rate transparency, human rights, and more.

Please register at tinyurl.com/MichiganWWD2023 by Friday, March 17th and gather in Lansing on Wednesday, March 22nd (location TBD) from 9 am - 2 pm. The first 100 people to register will receive a free WWD t-shirt -- generously sponsored by fearless legal advocate, Alice Jennings! Register today!
