Take action to rid our homes of toxic flame retardants

The evidence is clear: chemical flame retardants don’t retard flames and don’t save lives. Instead, these toxic chemicals escape out of children’s products and upholstered furniture, get into air and dust and into our bodies. Pregnant moms, young babies, and children are extremely vulnerable.

Other states have banned flame retardants in children’s products and furniture. Connecticut needs to do the same!
