For decades, Minnesota's regulatory process has failed to protect and support our most vulnerable communities. We have an opportunity to make change for the better by passing an important piece of legislation – the Frontline Communities Protection Act (FCPA) (HF 637/SF 466).
The FCPA will give power back to communities, and provide essential and necessary protections against pollution. It will also allow us to begin addressing the many sources of pollution that have been affecting our communities for decades. The health and wellbeing of our most vulnerable communities must be a main priority when granting or denying permits.
