National Water Projects Coordinator
Thea Louis is the National Water Projects Coordinator at Clean Water Action. Having recently completed her Masters in Environmental Justice from the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability, Thea explores how the principles of environmental justice can best be incorporated into new and existing initiatives and projects endorsed by and within Clean Water Action. Her research interests surround the equity implications of ecological environmental risk factors and how public policy can address those implications. In this role, Louis plays a lead role in research, writing, and advocacy around a new water pollution and justice project that is in development and focused on increasing community participation in water policy decisions so as to win changes towards equitable water policies from a place of genuine commitment and understanding.
