Note:This event was originally scheduled for June, but has been postponed due to the coronavirus crisis. We hope to be able to celebrate with you in October.

Clean Water Action has been working to protect Maryland's water and air for 40 years. We couldn't do it without you - and it's time to celebrate!

In 1980, John Kabler set up a Maryland office of Clean Water Action to spread environmental awareness and activism. From the new Baltimore office community organizers went door-to-door, educating and involving constituents on environmental issues, much like we still do today.

For 40 years Clean Water has played a key role in passing many Maryland victories, including the ban on use of phosphate detergents; the 1984 Critical Area Act; the Chesapeake Bay Restoration Fund; the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Act; the Watershed Protection and Restoration Act; the Keep Antibiotics Effective Act, as well as local victories protecting the quality of our drinking water from development, fighting dirty trash incinerators, and passing strong forest conservation laws.

Join us in Baltimore City, where we've been based since 1980, to meet our staff, learn more about our work this year, reflect on the past, and talk about what's in store for Clean Water in the future.

Tickets are $40; your ticket includes local beer, wine and dinner fare. Get your tickets here. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the event, click here. We greatly appreciate your support and hope to see you there!
