Childhood cancer, infertility, learning and developmental disabilities
are rising at alarming rates. Studies consistently show links between
toxic chemicals used in everyday consumer products and many of these
negative health impacts. We can avoid these chemicals, but we need to be
able to make informed decisions about the products we use.
Our rivers, lakes, and canals are contaminated by nutrient overloads from excessive use of pesticides and fertilizers. The resulting algae blooms are an ongoing threat to our public health, economy, and quality of life.
